Tom Vest Professional Development Award | Past Winners
Named in honor of longtime KDE employee Tom Vest, this award is presented to an individual or organization for its outstanding professional development programs.

Wanda Luttrell Support Personnel Advancing Excellence in Education Award | Past Winners
Named in honor of longtime KASA employee Wanda Luttrell, this award is presented to a classified employee who has contributed significantly to the efforts of a school or district administrative team. 

Application due June 16, 2008

Distinguished Service Award | Past Winners
Presented to an individual who is retired (or will retire at the close of the current school year), and has served KASA, one of the affiliate organizations, and public education with an unsurpassed degree of commitment.

Administrator of the Year Awards | Past Winners
Recognizes up to three school administrators who have demonstrated outstanding educational leadership and who have made significant contributions to the effectiveness of KASA.                                   Application due June 16, 2008

William T. Nallia Award

Presented annually to an education leader who reflects a spirit of innovation and cutting edge leadership while bringing higher levels of success and learning to all children.

Fred Award

Inspired by Mark Sanborn, well-known author and KASA conference 2007 keynote speaker, the Award is named in honor of Fred Shea, the subject of Sanborn’s national best-seller, The Fred Factor. The award seeks to honor an individual who exudes a Fred-like spirit of service, innovation and commitment to others, positively influencing and impacting the lives of those in the school community.
